Improvised Shakespeare
with Saurabh Pande & Andy Junk
Sunday, November 3, 4-6:30pm
This workshop will be exploration of the language, themes, and relationships of William Shakespeare’s work.
We will take a deep dive into how the bard’s words can facilitate narrative-driven improv with an emphasis on emotion. Some knowledge of Shakespeare and/ or a theater background is ideal for this workshop.
Saurabh Pande and Andy Junk are two of America’s most tolerated performers. They met in Chicago, IL (bean town) performing with The Improvised Shakespeare Co. One of them moved away to Los Angeles like a real coward, but they’re united once again…for you. Between the two of them, they have performed regularly at the iO theater, The Annoyance theater (and bar), and The Second City touring company.
They love Shakespeare, and deep dish hot dogs.
