Asher and The Skyward Staircase

Sundays at 11am CST

Calling all Studio Ghibli Fans!

We have an online improv show Sundays at 11am cst inspired by the works of Studio Ghibli that is perfect for the whole family!!

What does that mean? It means you won’t see stories or characters from Ghibli movies in Asher and The Skyward Staircase but you’ll see stories and characters that are inspired by our love of Studio Ghibli’s stories and characters!

Asher is a 10 year old kid with big wishes and a bigger imagination! What happens when Asher gets exactly what they want, but it’s not what they expect? Will they help the spirits of the forest before it’s too late?

Will Asher be able to ascend the staircase and get back home? Only with the help of some friends old and new, and YOU of course!

Join in on the chat on our Twitch channel and influence the show!

Our online improv shows are a safe way to enjoy a completely fresh, improvised story from the comfort of your home! You and your family can give suggestions that influence the show and play along as the story develops!

After you buy your ticket, join the show by following this link: twitch.tv/hideouttheatre

And if you are so inclined, here is a link to purchase gift cards for use at The Hideout when this whole thing blows over.

How Virtual Shows Work

1. Buy a ticket to the show, just like you normally would.

2. Tune in to The Hideout's Live Stream a few minutes before the show starts.

3. Optionally, create a (free!)Twitch account if you would like to offer suggestions through the chat during the show.

4. After the show, share and let everyone you know about how much fun you had. We survive on word of mouth, now more than ever!

In the event of technical difficulties, we all always update the link in step 2 to point to the current Live Stream.

Runtime: Approximately 45 minutes.
