Bring Hideout Kids to you!
In our shows you’ll find ridiculous stories, silly characters, and hilarious games. BUT WAIT – there’s more! Since this is all improvised the kids will help direct the stories, create the characters, and will give suggestions for the games. More fun than a barrel of monkeys – if you were the monkeys!
We’ve gone out to Schools, Child Care Centers, Libraries, Festivals, and all sorts of parties. We love entertaining big groups and our cast is ready to make your event exciting and original.
Because we are an improvised show, you can always ask us to add in themes or elements that work best for your event.
Run time: 45 minutes
Cost: $500 for the first show and $350 for subsequent shows – mileage charges apply outside of the Austin area.

Cultural Arts Committee – Bridge Point Elementary School
“Jessica and the Hideout Kids group did a wonderful job introducing our K-5 students to improv – very entertaining, funny and interactive – captivated a huge group of kids! By far, the best cultural arts assembly we’ve had, according to the kids themselves.”
Standard Show Themes:
Fairly Silly Fairy Tales – A new take on old stories. You know you love the classics like The Three Little Pigs, and Little Red Riding Hood, but it’s so much fun to mess them up! We get the audience to help us rebuild these classic stories so that they have totally new endings! Then we play some fun fairy tale games. And finally end with a big story that we all make up together with kids giving suggestions and helping on stage as minor characters. Great for those learning literature themes!
Pirate Stories – A crew of scurvy pirates sets sail through exciting adventures. They act out fond memories and then create new stories all based on the audience suggestions and using volunteers as characters in the story. They maybe be silly and a little disheveled, but they have hearts of gold!
Music Mayhem! – Developed specifically for pre-school kiddos. We bring musical stories and games that get the entire audience up and bouncing. Our actors are bright and bold and very very silly!
