Teenage Wasteland is an improvised coming of age comedy that looks at the angst ridden melodrama, high stakes buffoonery, and simmering tension that comes from putting a bunch of hormonally charged and emotionally insecure adolescents in one location with drugs, alcohol, and excessive amounts of pop music. In the style of films like Dazed and Confused and Can’t Hardly Wait, the show follows an ensemble of teenaged characters over the course of one crazy night at the intersection of their shared past and unknown future.
