Charles Dickens Unleashed

“Period costume improv? You bet. Dickens Unleashed
is Masterpiece Theatre gone mad! Utter fun!” – Austin-American Statesman

Looking for something out of the ordinary and outrageously entertaining to do this Holiday season? Starting in November the Hideout Theatre presents the triumphant return of Charles Dickens Unleashed: Improvised Tales of Bleak Victorian England.

Every Saturday at 8pm the classically trained improvisers at the Hideout Theatre present an enchanting, alarming and completely improvised play set in Charles Dickens’ dark Victorian underworld. Slimy criminals, wide-eyed orphans, saucy boot-blackers, and the pompous portly rich navigate their way through the corrupt London social strata. Will good triumph over evil? Perhaps. Perhaps not.

Don’t miss this audience favorite!

Saturdays at 8pm in November and December with Family-Friendly shows at 6pm* on December 3, 10, and 17!

*The 6pm shows will feature a pre-show treat. Improv games performed by the Hideout Theatre’s very own band of orphans (students from our kids classes!)
