All the world's a stage, but not everyone has a script. As if improvising full-length plays wasn't foolish enough already, the Heroes of Comedy are doing it in the style of William Shakespeare.

A cast of Austin's finest improvisational players breathe new life into the language and conventions of Elizabethan theater as they create entirely improvised comedies, tragedies and histories inspired by audience suggestions. Watch in amazement as they weave extended metaphors, star-crossed lovers, cross-dressing youths, villainous asides, rhyming couplets and a bit with a dog into an exquisite tapestry of high comedy. Every week is a new play and everything is made up on the spot.
