| It's Summertime and The Girls Have Gone Wild! Girls Girls Girls Improv Musicals presents The Boys of Summer This June, for the first time ever, Girls Girls Girls invites a special boy each week to guest star in their improv comedy show. May 15, 2006, Austin – GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS, Austin's only all-female improvisational comedy troupe, will feature a male star in their June shows. Girls Girls Girls have had many suitors over the years. Men have asked to come to our rehearsals, perform in our shows, and buy us drinks. But only now have we decided to accept these overtures and allow a gentleman caller on the stage with us. As you would expect, the Girls started this process by writing a list of their favorite Boys in the Austin Improv Collective. They considered their stage presence, funniness, and cutie/hunkiness. They had several rounds of voting and came up with an All-Star list of Boyprovisers: Jeremy Lamb, of the Available Cupholders; Ted Rutherford of The Foolish Mortals; Craig Kotfas of The Knuckleball Now; and Bill Stern of The Available Cupholders. These men will be expected to sing, dance, and act along with the Girls in a full length improvised musical. All the boys have been dying to play in a Girls show because of the Girls' illustrious legacy. Girls Girls Girls is Austin's oldest performing improv troupe. Originally cast from female members of The Heroes of Comedy, The Girls have been performing around Austin and Texas since 2000. In addition to their signature improvised musical format, the Girls perform Improvised Rock Operas, Romantic Comedies, and GGG: Beneath the Music, an improvised parody of VH1: Behind the Music. They have performed in the Out of Bounds Improv Festival and Putt Putt Golf Tournament, Waffle Fest Sketch and Improv Festival, Dallas Comedy Festival, and FronteraFest, where they won "Best of the Week". The Girls are looking forward to this fall when they will be headed out on a national tour.
