There's an improv revolution brewing and AUSTIN IMPROV is on the front lines. We're blowing up the local improv scene, hosting dozens of troupes and every kind of improv imaginable on the Hideout Theatre's improv-friendly stage.

Every Friday night at 10:30 two fantastic improv comedy troupes will battle for supremacy and survival in the FRIDAY IMPROV CAGE MATCH. Only one troupe will emerge victorious and return the following week to defend its title as the World Champion of Austin Improv. The audience determines the winner each week by secret ballot. 

This is not an exhibition -- this is no-holds-barred brutal competition. Each team gets exactly 25 minutes on the clock and when the buzzer goes off, the lights go out. They can do WHATEVER THEY WANT with the time, but ultimately they will have to face the judgment of the audience.
