Why did you want to be involved in the marathon?

The Marathon was the first improv show I saw in Austin when I moved here nearly 6 years ago. I’ve performed at least once in every marathon except last year. I love what it does for the kids and what it does for the community.

What excites you most about doing the marathon?

Testing my improv skills.

What scares you most about doing the marathon?

Possibly going crazy and having to quit.

Which format are you most excited about?

Confidence Men. I’m a theatre nerd and I love David Mamet. Second is Start Trekkin’ even though I don’t like Star Trek. I’m honoring my nerdy 13 year old self.

What’s the longest you’ve ever stayed awake?

32-ish hours, I think. I was involved in a 24 hour radio theatre marathon in college. I did a full day, then did the full 24 hours and then went home and did some other stuff before finally going to sleep.

What’s your dumb comfort item you’ll be bringing with you?

My body pillow.

What’s your pump up song?

Lamb of God – Ashes in the Wake.
