Level Two Students Give "Good, Bad and Worst Advice"
Level Two Improvisation: The Rules
So you took Level One and you’re intrigued. You had fun, risked failure gracefully and gave yourself permission to not try so hard.
This second workshop in our introductory series continues your playful exploration of improvisation and digs deeper into the fundamental elements that make a scene (or game) work — with a focus on what delights us, our fellow players and, ultimately, the audience. You’ll get more direct feedback and are encouraged to start taking notes on your improv experience. There are no rules in improv, but there are some useful tools and skills we’ll lay out in Level Two that help us improvise better faster.
Keith Johnstone’s Impro is required reading for this class.
Classes meet six times for three hours each week, limit 14 students. Level Two culminates in a brief student showcase for friends and family.
