Stick with Your Shit

Stick with Your Shit
with Asaf Ronen
Wednesday, July 24, 8-10pm

The more fun your improv is, the better your improv is. And the more “you” your improv is, the more fun and better your improv is. However, there are things that will distract us from that simple goal while feeling like it’s “what we’re supposed to do.” Students will learn how to double down on those choices, use what’s happening around to shape them even more and to course correct in a way that honors your scene partners AND your choices at the same time.

ASAF RONEN regularly performs, teaches and produces in Austin, mostly at The Institution Theater of which he was previously the Education Director. Asaf has taught improvisation in Canada, Great Britain, Norway and in twenty-three of The United States. His directing credits include the all-girl group goga, the improvised comic book adventure show Ka-Baam!!, and Death in the City, a dramatic longform improv piece, at the NY Fringe Festival.

$30 / 2 hours / Limited Space / **Class held at the Hideout Theatre (617 Congress Ave)
