Kacey Samiee has been improvising since 2000 and helped to create and foster Austin’s musical improv scene. She developed and teaches the musical improv curriculum at The Hideout and is the creator and director of Rock: An improvised Rock Opera, and SongRunner: An Improvised Cyber Punk Awakening. She regularly preforms with her troupe Indigo Shift, which builds a dystopian cabaret style world that is frequently strange if not entirely avant-garde.
